Kendra

Czar of Stitches, Duchess of Stuff

I grew up in rural Vermont, and my mom made every single costume I wore, including my prom dress. I started sewing because I got sick of gluing or hand-sewing my partner's increasingly elaborate Halloween costume ideas. I quickly realized a whole world had been opened up: I could make everyday clothes that actually fit my body and were unique to me. I started rafting and I found out that I could custom design for my boats, too. Look good, feel good. I am so excited by the opportunity to work with other river fans to make unique outfits for your boats. In addition to rafting and sewing, I like to order way too many books from the interlibrary loan system, and take a daily tour of all of my house plants.

Olivia

Born and raised in CO, I have always loved being as self sufficent and independant as possible. My mom taught me some basic sewing skills as a young one and I could not stay away from it ever since. I graduated from an art high school doing costuming for plays and dance performances and continued to do that as work study in college while getting a geology degree. One of my projects studying structural geology was about Dinosaur National Monument and I have always dreamt of the day getting to float the Yampa and the Green river through there, still to this day. I have been rafting only over the past couple years with friends and it is something I intend to keep doing as long as I can. Getting to make clothes or gear, and going on adventures, no matter on boat or bike are the best ways I like to fill my time.
